Dear all, I am so pleased and proud to confirm that the Sponsored Rowing Event went ahead as planned today. The aim of this event was to raise both funds and awareness for the Andy's Man Club and the Bramley Care Bears organisations. We paddled for two hours towards Rodley along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, had some lovely nutritious snacks and drinks while meeting some Swans and their Cygnets and then had a very enjoyable paddle back. While we were doing this we had a stall canalside at Kirkstall to highlight the wonderful work that both of our oranisations provide for our community. As always a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers, Andy's Man's Club volunteers and last but not least Tom at the West Leeds Activity Centre for the wonderful support. We would like to say a special thank you also to Paul Abraham who very kindly provided his services as our official photographer for our event
