Hi all, We are very excited to announce the fact that we have been busy in the background organising a Sponsored Rowing event. Please see below for the full explanation. Sponsorship Form for Bramley Care Bears and Andy's Man Club Rowing Event We are planning a canal rowing event along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal on Saturday 11th November from 10.00am until 2.30pm. The aim of this journey is to raise sponsorship money and awareness for both Bramley Care Bears and Andy's Man Club. Andy's Man Club are a men’s suicide prevention charity, offering free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the United Kingdom and online. We want to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and help men through the power of conversation. #ITSOKAYTOTALK Bramley Care Bears was created in October 2019 with the main aim of considering any project which benefits the community. We run two Food Distribution sessions per week, two Tech Buddies sessions per week, two Gardening sessions per week (weather permitting), two Woodworking Sessions (weather permitting) and one Learning Spaces session per week (in term time). The amount raised will be split 50/50 between our organisations and will help with running costs. This activity is being very kindly supported by the West Leeds Activity Centre and they are happy to provide boats, equipment and two members of staff.
